One would call him ‘Lakhan’ while some would refer him as the ‘youngest star’, Anil Kapoor is still one of the beloved actors and we couldn’t agree more. Today, the actor is celebrating his 62nd birthday. At midnight, he ringed in his birthday along with his family – wife Sunita Kapoor, son Harshvardhan Kapoor, daughter Rhea Kapoor at his Juhu residence in Mumbai. He was seen cutting the cake in a video which was shared by Rhea.
In the video, one could see that Sonam Kapoor and Anand Ahuja had joined the celebrations via a video call as the actress was in Delhi. Anil looked dapper in his suit while he cut the cake and fed a piece of it to his wife Sunita. Rhea shared the video on her Instagram story as the family kept the celebrations lowkey.

On his birthday, Sonam Kapoor shared a heartwarming post about the momentous year where he watched her get married and also that she got to share screen space with him after 10 years in the industry. Sharing a glimpse from Ek Ladki Ko Dekha Toh Aisa Laga, she wrote, “Happy happy birthday Dad… this has been a momentous year for both of us. For the first time in 10 years of being in this industry I shared a frame with you and was your costar.. And you also had to see me get married.. all this was a complete roller coaster… hard and beautiful at the same time.. I’m thankful for the teachings of love, progressive ideals and morals that have been a part of my upbringing , and each year I realise more and more what a gift that is in this day and age.. love you so much… @anilskapoor #ekladkikodekhatohaisalaga.”

On the work front, Sonam Kapoor and Anil Kapoor will be seen in Ek Ladki Ko Dekha Toh Aisa Laga along with Rajkummar Rao and Juhi Chawla in lead roles. The film is scheduled to release on February 1, 2019.
