The three-day literary event, which kick-started on Saturday, has been jointly organized by Assam government and Pramod Kalita, Secretory Publication Board of Assam. Manisha Koirala, known for films like Khamoshi, Dil Se, Mann and many more, was present for the 3rd edition of Brahmaputra Literary Festival today which is happening in Guwahati, Assam.

Manisha Koirala, who is a well-known face in the Bollywood industry and even internationally, was honoured at the festival and even shared her story of surviving cancer. Manisha added, “I’m really thankful to the government for giving me an opportunity to come here and share my story and honouring me here at the festival.” The actress spoke in depth about how her life changed when she was diagnosed with cancer.

On the work front, Manisha Koirala was seen in Sanju in which she essayed the role of Nargis Dutt. The actress even added that she is ready for new projects and wants to do good work.
