The most celebrated Director- actor duo Karan Johar and Kajol will be seen on Sony Entertainment Television’s most entertaining show, The Kapil Sharma Show. Karan and Kajol together have always been a riot because of their camaraderie and adorable friendship. On the show, they shared many trivia and stories and one of the revelations was that Kareena Kapoor Khan’s character “Poo” in Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham was actually inspired by Archana Puran Singh’s Miss Briganza from Kuch Kuch Hota Hai.

Karan Johar’s directorial debut Kuch Kuch Hota Hai was a blockbuster which gave a new wave to the love stories in the new millennium. Archana Puran Singh went down memory lane and said, “Playing Miss Briganza in Kuch Kuch Hota Hai was one of the most memorable roles I have ever played. Karan Johar played a big part in giving substance to the character in terms of her style, gesture and posture.”

To this, Karan added, “Kareena Kapoor's character, 'Poo' in K3G was inspired by Miss. Briganza.”

During the show, Archana felt emotional with the fact that her character made such an impact to be taken forward and inspire sensational star like Kareen Kapoor Khan. While talking about the memories from the film, Archana said, "Playing Miss. Briganza was one of the breeziest and fun time for me, all thanks to the director, Karan Johar.”
