Ranveer Singh has been hustling for his next project ‘83 and training under the cricket legends Kapil Dev, Mohinder Amarnath and Balwinder Singh Sandhu. The training session began earlier in April in Dharamshala with the entire cast and director Kabir Khan.

As Ranveer Singh continues his hectic prep for the film, he is always showcasing his transformation as well. Ranveer Singh will be essaying the role of former Indian Cricket Captain Kapil Dev under whose leadership, India won the World Cup in 1983. Known for his iconic big hair and moustache, Kapil Dev was one of the finest cricketers of his generation. Ranveer, once again, makes sure to look as authentic as possible. In his latest selfie, he is acing that retro look.

The film ’83 would be Ranveer Singh’s first trilingual film to be made in Hindi along with two other regional languages, namely Tamil and Telugu. Directed by Kabir Khan, it will bring to light one of the most important events in the history of Indian cricket. The film will be shot at real locations and will be going on floor, early next year.
