The Nawab of Pataudi, the “umm” actor Saif Ali Khan, is all set with a new movie “Go Goa Gone” entering his production house- Illuminati Films, which is claimed to be India’s first comedy horror zombie movie and the whole team is prepared to recieve an “A” Certificate for their movie, as they are ready to explore in terms of language and scenes.
Directed by Raj Nidimoru and Krishna DK, the movie is aiming to garner attention with its Zombie connect. Saif would be playing a Russian Mafia who is on a hunt for zombies. Saif is reported to have died his hair blonde for the look, and the experimentation is still on.The movie also stars Kunal Khemu, Puja Gupta and Vir Das.
Goans and Mauritians are being costumed as zombie lookalikes and the make up and prosthetics of the movie are being banked upon as USPs.
The storyline redounds around a virus that inflicts the whole town and the ones affected go around turing others in zombies like themselves. They can only be extirpated by hitting them on the alive part of their brains.
The background score and music is being looked after by Sachin-Jigar, the ones who were the composers for “Shor in the City”. The music of the flick will play a decisive role as it is the sound effects that will multiply the horrifying emotions when heard to.
Saif claims that the movie is one of its kinds and for the very first time Indians will witness such zombie horror flick with a pinch of comedy added to it making it zomcom genre.The movie is co-produced by Saif and Dinesh Jain, and foreign technicians and make up artists have been put to work.
Indian audiences have been quite skeptical in terms reception of experimental movies, but its always that they anxiously wait to unveil what lies in store for them at the theatres.
The shooting of the film has started and all are enthralled and atingled about the flick.
