Since the last 2 years Emraan Hashmi is one of the most bankable stars of Bollywood and the Bollywood film-makers are lining up to sign him for their upcoming films. Emraan has given us blockbusters like “Murder 2”, “The Dirty Picture” and also “Jannat 2” since 2011. Today he is one of the busiest stars in the whole hindi film industry. However his family is at ease these days, says the actor, since Emraan is now very less seen to lock his lips with his female stars onscreen.

Emraan Hashmi says that his parents were delighted to see him act in “Shanghai” without sharing any lip-locks with his female stars in the female. For him the love-making scenes were getting monotonous and repetitive thus he wanted to surprise everyone by doing something different! He adds that even his wifey dear Parveen is much more relaxed and happy this days as he is rarely found locking lips in recent films.

When he was asked about “Raaz 3” Emraan said he plays the role of a Bollywood director who makes mainstream flicks. In the film, we will get to see the transformation of Emu’s image. He is cast opposite hottie Bipasha Basu in “Raaz 3”.

Going by his films’ success rates, he was quizzed that is he gearing up to enter the club of 100 crore soon? Emu replied that every actor wants his film to do great business and he is no exception to that. He got offers of films which he knew would cross the 100 crore mark but he did not sign in for those films as he was not comfortable with the subjects of those films. He loves making decision by seeing the content rather than make a senseless decision and sign in for films.

In 2010 he played the role of the boss of underworld, gangster Dawood Ibrahim in “Once Upon A Time In Mumbai”, now for the sequel Akshay Kumar has been roped in to replace him. Emu said he gave in his best for the role and it was successful! He did not comment anything on the sequel of OUATIM.

When asked whether he considers himself to be the lucky mascot of Ekta Kapoor as he had done other hit films with the producer, Emu replied that they are lucky mascots for each other. Ekta’s knowledge help him while his inputs are equally important. Both the producer and the actor complement one another.
