Mumbai: Shahid Kapoor, the Bollywood guy who is in good demands and is simply adored by her fans, will soon be seen in an entertainer. Yes, this stylish lad has been signed by Rajkumar Santoshi in the film tentatively titled ‘Phata Poster Nikla Hero’. The film, as per the reports, will be produced by the famed music and production company Tips Industries. Ramesh Taurani of Tips makes the announcement of the film.
Rajkumar Santoshi is a big name in the film industry. He is known for many superhits like Ghayal, Andaaz Apna Apna and in recent past his flick ‘’Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahani’ made bigger waves at the box office and among the audiences.
Recently Rajkumar was in news due to his getting the advance payment back from Abhishek Bachchan as he was not giving dates for the film he signed with Santoshi. Well, the matter came into limelight but soon got settled as Santoshi reached at Bachchan’s bungalow to get his advance back which was very comfortably handed over to him by Abhishek.
Taurani confirms that Shahid Kapoor has been finalized as a main hero of the movie to be directed by Rajkumar Santoshi. Ramesh says that Shahid is a true fit as per the script thus the banner had no option except Shahid. He adds that he has been in talks with Kapoor for last six months and now the things got finalized between him and the banner.
Shahid Kapoor is busy these days as he has two other movies as well in hand to start shooting on – a film by Maneesh Sharma (under Yash Raj banner) and a film by Prabhu Deva. Ramesh Tauarni’s Phata Poster Nikla Hero is about a young guy who wants to become a superstar despite his mother’s being against this decision. The reports say that the movie will be an utter entertainer with full dose of action and romance. Ramesh says that it is a original story and not a remake at all. The makers want fresh pairing thus they are searching for the leading actress opposite Shahid in the movie. Hopefully they will zero in very soon.
