The film based on the life of slain lawyer Shahid Azmi, produced by Anurag Kashyap and Sunil Bohra, will be in the spotlight at the Toronto Film Festival. In fact the film is all set to be premiered at the festival and will be one of the officially selected films from India to feature at the prestigious festival.
The film that stars Rajkumar Yadav in the lead role, tells the story of Azmi, a lawyer who had fought for the rights of the captured militants and was also involved in the '93 blasts case. Azmi was shot dead in his office at Taximen Colony in Kurla in 2010. The film is directed by Hansal Mehta
