Rakul Preet Singh, who recently was seen basking in the success of De De Pyaar De, is gearing up for the release of another rom com, Manmadhudu 2! After Ajay Devgn, she will be seen alongside Nagarjuna but let us say that her characters Ayesha and Avantika are absolutely different. The sweet yet hot Ayesha is replaced by the badass Avantika and we must say her fans are enjoying seeing their favourite actress portray two drastically different roles. However, some of them are not very happy to see her to go all out to portray Avantika who is also seen smoking in the film.
We recently got a glimpse of Manmadhudu 2 in the two teasers of the film that give us sneak peek into the lead characters. While Nagarjuna is a 40 year old Casanova who continues to live a life devoid of commitment, Avantika is a complete badass too. In the teaser of her look recently, it was also shown that Avantika smokes and the scene has created an outrage amongst some who have been trolling the actress for the same. But unperturbed by them, when Rakul was asked about her reaction, the actress simply maintained that she is unaffected by them and she doesn’t bother about it. Quoting the popular line ‘Kuch toh log kahenge, logon ka kaam hai kehna’ the actress went on to state that she has bigger and better things to do.
That wasn’t all! The actress reportedly also addressed the ongoing controversy about Kabir Singh wherein she asserted that Shahid Kapoor is quite different from his onscreen character that he played in the film. Hence, people should not mix up real and reel life and should learn to dissociate with such characters!
