Well Well Well! Yeah, it is what you’ve heard, the dashing and sexylicious Arjun Rampal is taking a step back and moving out of Apoorv Lakhia’s Zanjeer (2013) remake of the old movie of the same name which starred Amitabh Bachchan in the role of angry young man.
In the remake, Telegu superstar Chiranjeevi’s son Ram Charan Teja would reprise the role of Vijay Shrivastav and Sher Khan was bagged by Arjun Rampal. But due to unavailability in terms of dates and rigorous shooting schedule for three on-going films, Arjun finds it challenging to balance things, so Arjun resorted to back out of the project.
The movie is produced and directed by Aproov Lakhia.Prakash Raj would be playing Teja, Priyanka Chopra playing Mala, and Mahi Gill as Mona. Also AB Sr. (Amitabh Bachchan) would be seen doing a short guest appearance.
Now Sanjay Dutt, has been offered role of Sher Khan. Previously Sanjay was considered for the role, but to due his increasing weight, the role had been offered to Arjun Rampal. But now reports have it that Sanjay has lost his extra kilos and is back in shape and form. All would be looking forward to the fight between Sher Khan and Vijay.
The music is being composed by Devi Sri Prasad and the movie is distributed by Reliance and Eros.
The movie has just hit the floors and the expectations have leveled up n times. All are ardently waiting to see the magic of Zanjeer being recreated on the “bada parda” once again.
