Very recently, Vivek Oberoi was almost raped and he wanted to get over the trauma really fast. Well, hold on to your imagination because that happened for his film Kismat Love Paisa Dilli where his character went through the unfortunate incident and so shaken up was Vivek that he requested his director Sanjay Khanduri to can the scene in a jiffy and move on to the next scene.
"Generally Vivek is extremely chilled out in the most difficult of the scenes and doesn't really fuss around various retakes. However for this particular sequence, he just couldn't take it. No pun intended", quips a source from the film's unit.
Apparently, this is a fun scene in this comic affair where a gay designer encounters Vivek and what unfolds from that point in leads to a hilarious sequence of events. With Vivek being all tied up and gagged, it was a physically excruciating experience as well.
"Vivek was all sport when the scene was conceptualized. However during execution when Sanjay wasn't happy with the first take and wanted the act to be repeated, Vivek went up to him and requested him to just let it go by in a jiffy. He really wasn't inclined to give multiple takes for this scene in particular as it was (obviously) not turning out to be a pleasant experience", the source continues.
Resultantly after one quick rehearsal, the scene was canned and Vivek heaved a sigh of relief.
Laughs Vivek, "Yeah, I guess this particular sequence has been one of my most challenging till date. I cannot tell you how difficult it was. I mean getting raped on screen? It has to be discomforting, isn't it? I had to just tell Sanjay and that guy behind me to just get over it."
