We earlier told you that the entire team of '83 was planning to celebrate the wrap-up in a grand way. Director Kabir Khan and his gang of actors spent months prepping hard and filming. Now that the sports drama revolving around India's historical win at the cricket World Cup 1983 goes to the post-production table, it's time for a break and some fun. Hence, a gala party took place last night.
With an enthu-cutlet like Ranveer present around, there's never a dull moment. He soon got on the stage. Next, he was jovially shaking a leg to his Simmba track 'Aankh Maare'. Needless to say, the house went crazy. You can't match this man's energy, really.

We didn't see Deepika dancing with the husband, but she was there in the party. In fact, we hear she was the one to come up with the plan! In the film, she plays Kapil Dev's wife Romi Dev. Hers won't be a very lengthy appearance, but Romi's equation with her legendary cricketer husband will definitely come alive through Deepika's character.
Also starring Tahir Raj Bhasin, Saqib Saleem and Pankaj Tripathi among others, '83 releases on 10th April, 2020.
