Superstar Rajinikanth recently wrapped the final schedule of his forthcoming film Darbar. The action thriller, directed by AR Murugadoss, was quite hectic to be shot. That earns him a holiday, right? Rajinikanth is now off to the Himalayas, we hear, and has taken daughter Aishwarya Dhanush.

As per reports, they visited places like Swami Dayananda Ashram in Rishikesh, the Badrinath temple and also took part in Ganga Aarti. In fact, how many of you knew that the superstar has an annual routine of visiting the Himalayas? He is also said to be meeting various spiritual leaders during these trips. A trip usually lasts for about two weeks.

In Darbar, Rajini has been paired with Nayanthara and will be seen playing a cop. We last saw them together in Chadramukhi, P Vasu's horror comedy. The superstar was last seen in Petta, Karthik Subbaraj's action thriller. Reportedly, his next will be named Thalaivar 168 and will feature Jyothika opposite Rajinikanth.
