Tara Sutaria walked the ramp and was the perfect Modern Indian Bride as she unveiled designer Shehla Khan’s winter festive collection, “Dark Romance” at The Wedding Junction Show on Saturday night. Called ‘Dark Romance', this collection was for the avante garde bride inspired by the early 90s, a show named ‘Dynasty’, and its regal opulence.
Commenting on her new collection, Shehla Khan said, "It is meant for the Indian bride who is modern yet classic, who is traditional but original and doesn’t follow the norms of society."
Cocktail gowns, lehengas with lace, pearl and crystal embellishments, red as the essential Indian bridal Color and black for the modern bride were the quintessential elements of this collection.
The showstopper for her show was Tara Sutaria, who wore an outfit designed for a young Indian modern bride. The simplicity of her outfit enhanced the beauty and glow of a bride on her wedding day. Tara was accessorized with jewellery and some avante gard elements which were romantic, yet edgy, adding to the element of dark romance.
