A few days back, Chandan Roy Sanyal had walked out of Vivek Agnihotri's Freedom due to date clashes. And as luck would have it, Vivek's eyes fell on Salman as a replacement to Sanyal. Talking about this, Vivek said that he spotted Salman while he was doing some scenes with his team in a film that is being directed by Remo D'souza. Wasting no time, he immediately auditioned him and signed him.
