USA: Free $30 Oye! Times readers Get FREE $30 to spend on Amazon, Walmart…How could a 100 crore success make any difference - AnushkaMatru Ki Bijlee Ka Mandola is now just a week away and while one waits to see how the film unfolds on screen, one fact remains that Anushka ended 2012 on a high. She was a bright spot of Jab Tak Hai Jaan which turned out to be a good success at the box office and also fetched her good critical and audience response.

"Yes, I am really happy that the year ended well for me. People liked me for my performance and to hear something like that is always gladdening", Anushka smiles, "Honestly, being a part of Yashji's film was a huge honour in itself and when you have your work appreciated as well it is all the more fantastic."

That can well be expected since Jab Tak Hai Jaan also managed to get her into the 100 crore club. This also brought her closer to contemporaries like Sonakshi Sinha and Asin who have the highest number of century hits to their credit. On the other hand, seniors like Kareena Kapoor and Katrina Kaif have been making merry in this club already.

"Well, I don't really understand how much being a part of being in this 100 crore club genuinely helps me as an actress. Guess I don't have experience to still ascertain how a 100 crore success could make any difference to my career. I am happy that people have liked my film but the way I look at it, sometimes there are films that cater to certain segment of audience and may not always get those crores coming in. Like for example Udaan may not have made so much moolah but it was also a much loved film. Yes, Jab Tak Hai Jaan has made money but I don't see any of that affecting me", says Anushka.

Well Anushka, with stakes going higher and a biggie like P.K. with Aamir Khan on the anvil, all the crores coming in can pretty much be expected to be most welcome in time to come.
