S. Ramanathan was the veteran filmmaker who had brought together the three titans viz., Big B, Kamal Haasan and Rajinikanth in his film Giraftaar. The sad news is that this filmmaker set for heavenly abode on January 9.
Many also accredit him for giving Big B his mega break in the film Bombay to Goa. Fondly known as 'Sirji', this soft spoken man was extremely close to the Bachchans as well as the southern superstar Rajinikanth. However, his film Zamaanat starring Big B, Arshad Warsi and Karisma Kapoor failed to make it to the theatres.
