Recently Bollywood director Madhur Bhandarkar met Olympic pride Mirabai Chanu and Neeraj Chopra who proved their caliber at Tokyo Olympics 2020 by bagging silver and gold medals respectively. Mirabai Chanu won a silver medal in weightlifting and Neeraj Chopra earned a gold medal for javelin throw. The duo made India proud with their impeccable performance at the Olympics. When the whole country is singing praises for the Olympic champions then how will filmmaker Madhur Bhandarkar be left behind.

The Page 3 director met the two sports personalities, had a long chat with them, and congratulated them for creating history at the Tokyo Olympics. Madhur Bhandarkar was happy as he got the opportunity to meet the duo who has made the Indians swell with pride. He also clicked photographs with them and the trio was all smiles in the picture. The director is seen in a white t-shirt and blazer, while Mirabai Chanu donned a white striped t-shirt and black pants. On the other hand, Neeraj Chopra wore cobalt blue striped pants and a plain white t-shirt.

The 52-year-old director took to his social media handle and sharing the pictures of his meeting with the duo captioned it, "It was such a delight to meet and congratulate @neeraj____chopra and @mirabai_chanu on their fantastic achievements in #Olympics2020 winning Gold and Silver medals for India. ???????? Keep it up champs".

Madhur had also written an appreciation post for Neeraj Chopra after he won gold for India at the Tokyo Olympics 2020. On the work front, he has finished the shoot of his upcoming movie titled India Lockdown starring Prateik Babbar, Aahana Kumra, Shweta Basu Prasad, and Sai Tamhankar in lead.
