Shah Rukh Khan found himself inside a political turmoil after an article where he discusses as being a muslim published inside a magazine. When ‘good friend’ Priyanka Chopra was asked with a journalist,in a press conference, to discuss SRK’s article and also the issues surrounding his security, Priyanka switched hostile and lashed out at the media.
Priyanka fumed in the media person saying, “Have you read it? Nowhere has he written in it that Muslims feel unsafe in India, at least I didn’t read something such as this when I read that. You must do your homework prior to blowing things beyond proportion, simply to improve your channel’s TRPs. You people should provide the right info and never create controversies.”
When asked if she feels she’d have got into more trouble if she’d Khan as a lastame Priyanka said, “Even after as being a Chopra I recieve large amount of controversies, like I said before you people are simply attempting to create controversies. Journalists like you ought to be embarrassed with yourself, when you are making this type of major problem on the surname, in a secular country like India.”
Shah Rukh’s interview towards the publication was critiqued by many people but things made worse when Pakistan’s Interior Minister Rahman Malik asserted India must take proper care of SRK’s security. King Khan however cleared all things in a press conference as well as lashed out at Pakistan.
