The Toyota University Cricket Championship (TUCC) had a grand opening that took place on Saturday with megastar Shah Rukh Khan inaugurating the confederation along with Cricketer Rahul David. Talking to reporters at the grand opening, Shah Rukh modestly said that, he personally does not have time to play Cricket and that the Celebrity Championship League (CCL) doesn’t need a ‘small star’ like him. He believes that professionalizing sports is one of the most important aspects that he could attach himself with, and is elated to be associated with the Toyota University Championship (TUCC).
Salman Khan, who was seen cheering for his brother Sohail’s team last week, was the honored guest at the opening of the tried edition of the Celebrity Cricket League. With the initiative of promoting cricket at a University level, The Toyota University Cricket Championship (TUCC), is contributing towards the evolutionary growth of sports along with promoting young hidden talent in the country.
Echoing the truth, SRK feels the need in creating alternate professions for youngster in the country and that sport is indeed the greatest profession.
