As decided earlier, a stretch of Andheri's Yaari Road has now been named after the late actor Joy Mukherjee, on the occasion of his 74th birth anniversary.
The legendary actor Dilip Kumar and his wife Saira Banu inaugurated the said stretch. Saira Banu even recalled her association with Mukherjee on the occasion, with whom she had worked in films like Shagird, Saaz Aur Awaaz, Aao Pyaar Karein etc.
Joy Mukherjee passed away last year due to prolonged illness.
