USA: Free $30 Oye! Times readers Get FREE $30 to spend on Amazon, Walmart…Arjun Rampal has just teamed up with People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) India raising his voice against horses being forced to pull carriages through the city streets. He has even sent a letter to Sitaram Kunte (Municipal Commissioner of Greater Mumbai) urging him to ban horse-drawn carriages from the city's streets. The said letter was sent just in advance of the next hearing of the Bombay High Court case in which PETA and other animal protection groups are calling for a ban on the cruel horse drawn carriages.

Voicing his opinion on this issue, Arjun wrote, "As a Mumbaiite and a person who cares deeply for animals, I am writing to add my voice to the campaign by my friends at PETA India for an immediate and permanent ban on horse-drawn carriage rides in the city. The manner in which these magnificent animals are treated is a crime. I respectfully request that you enact an all-out city-wide ban on horse-drawn carriages."
