USA: Oye! Times readers Get FREE $30 to spend on Amazon, Walmart…It's not rocket science to say that Parineeti Chopra and Siddharth Malhotra are indeed the faces to watch out for in the years to come. These two have now come together in the film called Hasee Toh Phasee, whose shooting began on 18 April.
Talking about the film and his role, an excited Siddharth said "It isn't an over-the-top role. And unlike my previous film Student Of The Year, where I played a student, I play my age and am shown as a middle-class working man." And when asked about Parineeti, he said, "She has lot of spunk, energy and there is a good give-and-take with her". Meanwhile, Parineeti, who is working with Siddharth for the first time, said that he is a superb co-star who never gets worked up. And on her role, she said, "My character is quite a difficult one. I deliberately choose roles that make me nervous. I do a lot of homework and until I get it right, I don't give up".
Talking about the film's director Vinil Mathew (a veteran ad filmmaker), Siddharth said "It didn't feel like the first day of shoot because he is so sorted and knows exactly what he wants. He made us rehearse a lot during a two month workshop before shooting began".
Hasee Toh Phasee, which is being co-produced by Dharma Productions and Phantom Films, releases January 24, 2014
