USA: Free $30 Oye! Times readers Get FREE $30 to spend on Amazon, Walmart…Salman Khan who is currently under trail for his involvement in the September 2002 hit and run case received a reprieve from a session's court on Monday, when actor was exempted from appearance in court.

Apparently, the hearing which was in process post the actor filing a review against a magistrate's order which had committed the case to the sessions court after invoking the charge of culpable homicide not amounting to murder under Section 304-II of the IPC, which attracts up to 10 years imprisonment.

While the exemption from the hearing came post the actor's lawyer Ashok Mundargi requested the bench that the actor be exempted since his presence was not necessary. Further the court asked Khan's advocate to file his written submissions too and adjourned the matter to May 8 for arguments.
