Anil Kapoor comes to his actors rescue on sets of 24

Times readers Get FREE $30 to spend on Amazon, Walmart… Anil Kapoor who is currently shooting for his upcoming TV series 24, played Good Samaritan recently when one of the actors from the show was injured on sets. Shakeel Khan who was injured while shooting a stunt for the series, and is currently recuperating narrates the incident, "I was shooting a scene with Anil on 14th early morning. I was supposed to shoot a cop. The stuntman didn't do the padding on my hand properly. So I actually got injured with the blast and had a wounded arm. Anil sir had no idea about this. I told the crew that I am hurt. They immediately called the first aid and gave me a dressing and I started shooting again without taking a break. After finishing the scene, I told them that I am feeling a lot of pain in my arm and I need to see a doctor. So they took me to a doctor and I got operated."

Further recounting, the accident Shakeel says, "When Anil found out about the accident he sent me a huge bouquet of flowers with a note saying– It was a pleasure working with you and I will take care of all your bills. He asked me rest till the time my hand gets better and not to worry about anything. His crew calls me every day to check on my health. Even the stuntman came home and apologized."

Shakeel who has worked in movies like Lakshya, Don and Jannat is really touched by Anil's act of kindness says, "There are very few people like Anil who treat their actors so well and stand by them in difficult times. It's such a pleasure to be working with him."
Anil has surely earned another fan in Shakeel Khan.
