USA: Oye! Times readers Get FREE $30 to spend on Amazon, Walmart… She has joined the list of debutant girls who have opened their Bollywood innings with a bikini sequence. Sasheh Agha, the latest Yash Raj discovery, has managed to make her presence felt as the only young girl in an all-male saga. In the process, she has made sure that audience have looked beyond her bikini and kissing act.

Good to see another newcomer enter the world of Bollywood. I guess this must have got you into a comfort zone to be playing an urban-n-stylish girl of today, right?
See, when I read the script, I did feel that it was not a quintessential Bollywood debut that an actress would actually want. How many out there would play a planted escort girl in their very first film? For me, this was a very good move in terms of my kick-start as an actress. I always wanted to do a good film with a good script and good actors. I thought that here was this girl who was very unpredictable with the kind of characterisation which was so intense. Thankfully, audience has realised that there is much more to me than a bikini.

You are right, not many actresses have started their journey as a grey character.
Well yes. We are living in a world where we want power in our lives. Who is perfectly black or white today, especially when the race is to gain power? This is the reason why I too have so many shades to myself in the film. This is what enticed me. I had faith in myself that I would be able to deliver.

How did you impart the same faith in powers that be at Yash Raj?
When I auditioned at first, the casting director gave me very good support in terms of believing in me. Later, when Mr. Aditya Chopra saw the audition, he said that he wanted to place me in a right film. When he offered me Aurangzeb, I knew I had to make best use of the chance that I had in hand. When people like him show such kind of confidence and faith, you have to work as hard as you can.

So what happens now?
Well, I have a three film contract with YRF so you would hear more announcements soon.
