The currently underproduction third installment in the Dhoom franchise featuring Abhishek Bachchan, Uday Chopra, Katrina Kaif and Aamir Khan has reportedly been acquired by Sony television. It is learnt that YRF managed to secure itself a mutually profitable deal with Sony Television.
In fact the makers have signed a Rs. 75 crore deal with Sony acquiring the proprietorship for the film's television rights. However when contacted YRF's spokesperson chose to remain mum saying, "We wouldn't like to comment on any speculation."
Dhoom 3 is said to be an action thriller of which a large part has been shot in Chicago. Slated for a December release this year, the film has been making news thanks to Aamir Khan playing the main villain.
