And this aspiring star took his first step in Bollywood with Force. Ameet was seen in the role of a police officer from the Narcotics Control Bureau who is a part of the talented team headed by John Abraham. Not ending at that, the actor now has quite a few big projects in hand.

However, a debut film in Bollywood is always memorable. Recalling his debut days, Ameet spoke to Bollywood Hungama about his experience of working with popular director Nishikant Kamat and his old friend John. "When I was got on board, I was more than thrilled to have a lot of great people around me for my debut venture. Nishikant is a great director. He was very patient with me and was always there for my aid. He is a very calm and composed director. However, John is an old friend. I have known John for more than 9-10years. He always looked out for me. It was fun to be around, and hangout together after a long time," said Ameet.

His debut experience surely was a thrill ride but his current projects seem to be just as exciting. The actor will now be seen in the much awaited Ranbir, Arjun, Jacqueline starrer Roy where he will be playing a detective. Talking about his role, he said, "It's a thriller and a great film. It is directed by Vikram Singh and produced by T-Series head honcho Bhushan Kumar. Primarily most of my shots are with Ranbir since he is playing the thief and I am the detective." Elaborating more on his rapport with the star, he said, "I knew Ranbir even before the release of Saawariya. We play cricket and soccer together. He is a great guy. We socialize together frequently."

Ameet will also be seen in Lights, Camera, Action, produced by Vikram Razdan and directed by debutant Anjali where he will be seen playing the role of a superstar. "It's a film in a film. The basic plotline is about aspirations attached with the glamour industry. It not only focuses on the professional aspect but also the personal aspect of every character, where everyone has a story to tell," said Ameet. The film also stars Suniel Shetty who will be seen in the role of a director and the shooting will commence from July.

Apart from films, keeping his passion for soccer alive, the actor has some events coming up. He will be playing a charity match where Ranbir will head the team. Talking about the preparations for the same, he said, "We catch up every Sunday for playing soccer and we are playing for a charity match too, where Ranbir is the vice captain." Amidst movies and sports, seems like Ameet Gaur has a lot to look forward to, this year.
