Times readers Get FREE $30 to spend on Amazon, Walmart… Yesteryears actor par excellence, Dilip Kumar, who has been inactive on the social networking site Twitter for the past few months, expressed his sincere regret at the demise of his co-star and old friend Pran. Posting on his twitter handle, Dilip Kumar reminisces about the days gone by saying, "My dear friend Pran liked to talk to me on the phone till recently. Saira and I visited him whenever we could. We had our Punjabi jokes, bringing back memories of the great times we shared as costars. He was a through gentleman."

Further remembering his wedding celebrations and the mammoth journey Pran undertook to make it for the function, Dilip Kumar says, "I can never forget how Pran managed to come to my marriage, braving bad weather in Srinagar where he was shooting…He took a flight to Delhi and then to Bombay and reached by evening, in time to hug me before the nikah ceremony."

Concluding his flow of emotional memories, Kumar thanked his fans posting, "Thank you to each and everyone of you for your prayers and wishes."
