USA: Oye! Times readers Get FREE $30 to spend on Amazon, Walmart…After receiving success at the BO with Shootout At Wadala, Sanjay Gupta is surely set to make a trilogy out of the Shootout series. And now, the director also plans to make another gangster trilogy titled Mumbai Saga. Set in the 80s and 90s, the movie is said to revolve around the deep rooted web of underworld, politicians, police and mill owners.
While this is Sanjay's dream project, he says that it will be based on true events. However, in order to avoid controversies, the director is not keen on using real names for the characters in the films. Buzz is that Sanjay will once again cast the SAW stars for this trilogy but since the director is still on his scripting stage, nothing has been finalized so far.
