After drawing countless flak for her 'dare-bare-to-care' act during the Cricket World Cup, this time round, Poonam has again magnetized controversy, courtesy the hot posters of her debut film Nasha.

The film's suggestive posters have apparently not gone down well with Shiv Sena, who have now taken objection to the same and have pulled down posters in Lower Parel and Borivali. Reacting to this, the film's producer Aditya Bhatia said that what he fails to understand is that how can someone find the posters objectionable, when the film's publicity stills have been approved by the Western India Film Producers' Association (WIFA). Not wanting to give in to Sena's demands of pulling the other hoardings down, he is now planning to lodge a police complaint. He said that since he is a responsible citizen, he would have taken the posters off all by himself had he felt that the said posters were objectionable. He also added that, he may now just keep them away from children's view.

Meanwhile, Akshay Bardapurkar (General Secretary- Shiv Sena Chitrapat Sena) said that they found the posters highly vulgar and derogatory and that they just won't allow such hoardings to be put up in the city of Mumbai.
