USA: Free $30 Oye! Times readers Get FREE $30 to spend on Amazon, Walmart…All those reports of a rift between the Partner pair can be put to rest. Salman and Govinda were said to have fallen out after the former's refusal to mentor latter's daughter's career choosing instead to guide Shatrughan Sinha's daughter Sonakshi to stardom.

Now, all the ill-will generated by the alleged betrayal has been washed away. Salman Khan has personally requested Govinda to step into the remake of Subhash Ghai's Hero which Salman produces as a launch vehicle for Aditya Panscholi-Zarina Wahab's son Sooraj and Suniel Shetty's daughter Aathiya.

But Govinda has not yet made up his mind. He would do so once he hears the script.

Says Govinda happily, "I have not heard the script. So I have not signed the film as yet. But Salman has told me he would come to me to play the role played by Sanjeev Kumarji in the original script."

When asked how he would manage to look convincing as Aathiya's brother when he's her father's age, Govinda says, "I haven't heard the script. But whatever the role I am okay with it."
