Gang of Ghosts is inspired by Bengali superhit film Bhooter Bhabishyat.

Having bought the rights of a Bengali song from Bhooter Bhabishyat, the director has adapted the song into Hindi with his own inputs. Confirming the news, Satish Kaushik says, "I have adapted the title song into Hindi. It is a funny song with a retro feel. It has been composed by new very talented music directors Dharam and Sandeep."

Also, the actors like Mahie Gill, Anupam Kher and others will be seen gyrating to a medley of popular yesteryear songs like 'Lal Dupatte Wali' and 'Tu Cheez Badi Hai Mast Mast' along with the songs of films like Dhadkan and Saajan. Adding further, Kaushik says, "The situation for the song was apt to weave together known tracks from production house Venus' earlier films. It's also been a while since we had a medley of songs in a film. It adds to the fun-filled situation.' The song has been shot on the beaches of Thailand.

Venus Records and Tapes Pvt Ltd's Gang of Ghosts also stars Meera Chopra, Chunkey Pandey, Rajpal Yadav and Saurab Shukla and went on floor this June.
