USA: Oye! Times readers Get FREE $30 to spend on Amazon, Walmart… It is a known fact that shooting in the by-lanes of Delhi has traditionally been a challenge for the B-Town folks. For Ranbir Kapoor and his newbie heroine Pallavi Sharada, it was all the more difficult to do when they had to drive through the busy streets in old Delhi on a scooty. Even more exciting was the fact that it wasn't Ranbir but Pallavi who was in charge of driving.

"No wonder, it was one of the toughest rides for Pallavi," informs a source, "First and foremost she hadn't driven a scooty before in her life. Worse, the scene required Ranbir to ride pillion. Thirdly, since it was difficult to control crowds, she had to get it all right rather quickly."

Since the scene was written in such a way that role reversal was impossible, Pallavi had no other choice but to take a deep breath and gear up for the drill.

"She was very conscious of the fact that Ranbir was sitting behind her," a close friend of the actress adds, "She couldn't have afforded even a minor slip. After all, you can't hurt a superstar and risk a delay in shoot; his dates come at a premium. Nervous as hell, she first took a couple of rounds all by herself. Since she is new to the industry, no one really bothered her, more so since the camera wasn't rolling."

However, she soon realized that rehearsals and real shoot are two different matters. That's because just when she thought that all was set for her and Ranbir was placed behind her, she got a taste of the real shooting atmosphere.

"The moment Ranbir came on scene; there were hundreds of people who gathered out of nowhere. He had to come to Pallavi's rescue and help her not just go through the shot but also navigate the constantly building crowd. The young heroine heaved a sigh of relief when director Abhinav Kashyap called 'cut'. After thanking Ranbir profusely for his helping hand, she was more than happy to say adieu to the scooty," a crew member adds.
