USA: Free $30 Oye! Times readers Get FREE $30 to spend on Amazon, Walmart…Anubhav Sinha It is a known fact that before stepping into the world of films, Anubhav Sinha had to his credit dozens of music videos. Quite popular right through the 90s when music videos for private albums were pretty much in the vogue, Anubhav was a formidable name in the circle before he stepped into filmmaking with Tum Bin.

While his journey from Tum Bin to Ra.One had been monumental to say the least, Anubhav enjoyed some of the best moments in the current times when he returned to his first love i.e. shoot a music video for his upcoming film Warning.

The man whom he wanted in there? Sonu Nigam, with whom he had collaborated for quite a few videos in the earlier years.

"Since Warning is a song-less affair, need of the hour was to design some promotional videos. However they couldn't be ordinary or run of the mill. They had to truly reflect the flavour of the film while also carry a stylish flavour that comes with the 'Anubhav Sinha territory'. Moreover it had to be all the more special since the song in question 'Taakeediein' is also Anubhav's favourite from the film. It was pronto decided that the man in front of the camera would be the same who was behind the mike – Sonu Nigam," informs a source close to the director.

Result was a no-nonsense video that has made an instant impression ever since its release. Though Anubhav could have well brought in technical wizardry into play, the idea was to keep it all simple, yet effective. Moreover, to make a visual impact, the concept of protagonists trapped in deep blue sea (which is the core of Warning) was brought into motion by showcasing Sonu crooning the number while getting immersed in water inch by inch every single minute, before getting completely drowned.

Not just that, as a specially designed suit and shades were procured as well in order to lend Sonu a much dapper look. With the overall concept turning out to be so well on paper, co-producers Eros were all excited to see it all translate on screen as well. No wonder, the outcome turned out to be truly international with class written all over it.

With an all around feedback coming in, Anubhav too tweeted to the effect of stating, "Out of over 100 music videos that he had done, Taakeedein was one of the very special ones."

When contacted, he quipped, "Well, it may seem simple but it wasn't that simple to shoot. There was a lot that went behind it."
