Ranveer contracted an infection and high fever during the Durgapur shoot of Gunday but chose to continue the shoot as per schedule despite the illness, in order to avoid production loss. However, on his return to Mumbai, he was diagnosed with a severe case of dengue fever. He is presently admitted in a suburban hospital.
Though nothing has been revealed about the actor's recovery, Ranveer will be taking an off from his work to recoup from the illness.
