Welcome Back, which is a sequel to the much popular comedy film Welcome, will have a completely different set of leads with a different plot. John, who is playing the lead, will be seen playing the role of tapori, unlike Akshay in the prequel where he was employed in a white collar job.
John was spotted wearing a grey tee along with a blue jacket looking like a vagrant on the sets of this comedy drama. We also hear that John's character in the film is loosely inspired by the Aamir Khan's tapori role in Rangeela.
Welcome Back will also star Shruti Haasan, Nana Patekar and Anil Kapoor in prominent roles.
