USA: Oye! Times readers Get FREE $30 to spend on Amazon, Walmart…Shakti Kapoor's son Siddhanth Kapoor who debuted with Shootout At Wadala, has now bagged a lead role in Bejoy Nambiar's next. The film is an official remake of Tamil sports comedy film Chennai 600028 and will be produced by Dar Motion Pictures.
A source close to the development told mirror, "Siddhanth has been assisting Priyadarshan for years. He has worked with him in films like Bhool Bhulaiyaa, Bhagam Bhaag and Chup Chup Ke. When Siddhanth learnt that Bejoy is planning to make this film, he called him and expressed a desire to be a part of it. Siddhanth has played cricket at a state level and the film is about street cricket. He auditioned for the film and was later signed."
Siddhanth has already started shooting for the film. When contacted, Bejoy confirmed the story.
