John, who recently bagged the hit comedy franchise Welcome Back, will be seen playing the role of a tapori in the film. Keeping up with the image of the character, John was seen in a red shirt, jacket and denims, posing with his own cut-out standee in the film.
A 30 feet tall standee of the actor was used as a prop in one of the songs of Welcome Back. The song was shot over a span of seven days along with 700 junior artists in Mumbai.
Welcome Back also stars Shruti Haasan, Anil Kapoor, Nana Patekar and Paresh Rawal and is directed by Anees Bazmee.
