Putting an end to all the rumours about Kareena Kapoor Khan playing lead opposite Akshay Kumar in the upcoming Sanjay Leela Bhansali and Shabina Khan film Gabbar, it was recently revealed that she will only be doing a special song in the film.
The film which is a Hindi remake of the 2002 Tamil blockbuster Ramanna will have Shraddha Kapoor playing the female lead. Also, the film will be directed by Radhakrishna Jagarlamundi. The film revolves around a group of students lead by a professor who opts for violent means to fight a corrupt system.
Gabbar will majorly be shot in different locations in Mumbai and is slated to go on floor on January 5, 2014.
