USA: Oye! Times readers Get FREE $30 to spend on Amazon, Walmart…Vishal Bhardwaj's third installment of the Shakespearean trilogy based on Hamlet titled Hyder will be shot in Kashmir and permissions for the same has been granted. While Vishal had already announced the locations previously, he was still unsure of the permissions due to the ongoing tension in the state.
However, Jammu & Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah has given Bhardwaj a thumbs up to shoot in the state only on the condition that it won't be misrepresented like in movies like Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani. Bhardwaj who is excited about Hyder also revealed that Omar has been a fan of his films and has been very helpful.
Also, apart from the leads, most of the actors in Hyder will be Kashmiri and the film will be shot in two schedules namely in autumn and summer.
