Ronit Roy to play Arjuns father in 2 States

USA: Oye! Times readers Get FREE $30 to spend on Amazon, Walmart…Based on Chetan Bhagat's popular novel, the screen adaptation of '2 States' produced by Karan Johar, will have Ronit Roy playing Arjun Kapoor's father in the film.

Though it's a special appearance, Ronit's role may have a negative shade. However, the small screen superstar claims that the film will portray a beautiful story between a father and a son. Also, he revealed that this role is inspired by Chetan Bhagat's father in real life.

The film is a love story where a North Indian boy falls in love with a South Indian girl and how the couple overcomes various cultural differences which pose as an obstacle for their marriage.

2 States will see Alia Bhatt playing the female lead and is directed by Abhishek Varman and Sreerag Nambiar.
