USA: Oye! Times readers Get FREE $30 to spend on Amazon, Walmart…Actor Rajpal Yadav best known for the comic character he portrayed in films like Pyaar Tune Kya Kiya, Hungama, Chup Chup Ke, Garam Masala, Phir Hera Pheri and many others, was sentenced to 10 days Police custody by the Delhi High court. The court's ruling came after a complaint was filed by a Delhi based entrepreneur that accused Yadav and his wife of concealing facts about a Rs.5 crore recovery suit filed against them.
Initially, the hearing on the case was scheduled for Monday, December 2, however due to the absence of Yadav and his wife, despite repeated warnings the matter was adjourned till today. In its latest ruling by Justice S. Murlidhar, the Delhi High Court apart from issuing a contempt of court notice to Yadav and sentencing him to police custody has also asked Yadav's wife to remain present in the Registrar General's office till the rising of the court.
