Aamir learnt tap dance for Dhoom 3

Aamir Khan who will be seen playing a thief in his upcoming film Dhoom 3, is said to be a circus artist. While the actor will be seen in a stylish avatar, he will also be doing some tough dance moves.

Aamir has specially learnt tap dance for the film where he'll be doing an extensive portion of the dance form, and the makers had to invite an international professional to help Aamir to get his moves right. Aamir Khan learnt tap dance from Professional Australian tap dancer and choreographer Dein Perry who choreographed for the Sydney Olympics opening act and Happy Feet 2. Aamir had to learn the 'grungy tap' dance which is high on energy and more difficult than the classic tap dance.

He spent a while in Australia and learnt the dance form with the choreographer's dance students who were broadly of the age group of 10 – 24. After extensive training and getting the knack of the fast paced grungy tap, Dein along with his dance company came down to India to choreograph the song.

Spokesperson of Dhoom 3 confirms the news and adds, "Aamir had visited Dein Perry's academy in Australia to learn the grungy tap dance. After the training was done, the dance team came to India to shoot the song."
