Times readers Get FREE $30 to spend on Amazon, Walmart…Sometime back, we had reported on a decision taken by the Pakistani government banning the release of Bollywood films within the country. Now we hear that the petition filed by television talk show host Mubashir Lucman seeking a ban on Indian films before a High Court in Lahore was withdrawn on Monday.

Apparently, a compromise was reached between the Pakistan Cinema Owners' Association and film distributors and the petitioner, when the matter came up for hearing on Monday. As per the compromise, cinema halls in Pakistan will be permitted to equally share screening time between Indian and Pakistani films.
