Making a comeback with yet another masala entertainer is Sanjay Leela Bhansali along with Akshay Kumar for their upcoming film Gabbar. Being a remake of the Tamil blockbuster Ramana, the Hindi version will be directed by the popular South director Krish who will be making his debut in Bollywood with this film.
The film, which is slated to release this year, went on floor today and Akshay Kumar was spotted posing with production board as he was all set to give his first shot for the film. Posting the picture of the same on a social networking site, Akshay also expressed his excitement of starting a new film this year as he wrote, "Starting the #NewYear, with a New Movie, a New Look & by God's Grace lots of Luck!! 1st shot for #GABBAR Wish me luck!"
Gabbar also stars Prakash Raj, Sonu Sood and is co-produced by Shabina Khan.
