While Rekha has been making few appearances on screen for a while, she will be seen in a much prominent role in the upcoming film Super Nani.
Playing a grandmother to Sharman Joshi, the film talks about women empowerment where Sharman will inspire Rekha to live a meaningful life. Accompanying them in this journey will be Anupam Kher who seems quite excited about the film. He recently posted the first look of his film on the micro-blogging site, stating, "Just for you all: From the sets of Indra Kumar's 'SUPER NANI' with Gorgeous Rekha Ji & Talented Sharman."
Directed by Indra Kumar, Super Nani will be co-produced by him along with Ashok Thakeria. The film is slated to release in May 2014.
