Times readers Get FREE $30 to spend on Amazon, Walmart…A popular soft drink brand which used the word 'Youngistan' for its promotional campaign has now sent a legal notice to the producers Vashu Bhagnani's Puja Films and Multi Screen Media (MSM) who have a film coming up with the same name starring Jackky Bhagnani.

The soft drink brand has accused the makers of copyright infringement and has asked them to change the title with immediate effect. Also, Youngistan which is used in varied promotional campaigns of the film have been asked to be withdrawn. In their defence, the soft drink brand has stated that the word 'Youngistan' has been coined by them years ago as a part of their publicity strategy and also, superstars like Shah Rukh Khan and Ranbir Kapoor have been a part of it. The film in question is slated for release on March 28, and the makers are yet to decide their reply for the notice.

Youngistan is directed by Syed Ahmed Fazal and stars Jackky Bhagnani, Neha Sharma, Boman Irani and the late Farooq Sheikh.
