USA: Free $30 Oye! Times readers Get FREE $30 to spend on Amazon, Walmart…With Sanjay Dutt being granted a parole extension once again, a PIL has been filed against this parole extension by a Pune based lawyer Tushar Pabale at Bombay High Court questioning the constant leave being granted to the actor for various reasons.

Pabale's lawyer Nikhil Chaudhari has asked the court to frame appropriate guidelines for the Bombay Furlough and Parole Rules as he claims that the provisions under these sections aren't clear. He also stated that this is the result of the power being held in the hands of the rich and influential. However, the Pune divisional commissioner Prabhakar Deshmukh maintains that the ACP of Bandra has submitted the detailed doctor reports required for the parole extension and has clarified that this will be the last extension granted this year.

Sanjay Dutt who is serving imprisonment for illegal possession of arms and ammunitions, was granted parole in September owing to severe leg pain. The actor however was once again granted with another leave by the jail authorities considering his wife Manyata's illness which was to end this month but has now been extended until March 21.

A division bench led by Justice N H Patil is likely to hear the case on February 25.
