USA: Oye! Times readers Get FREE $30 to spend on Amazon, Walmart…Just yesterday there was news that Deepika Padukone had been roped in to play the female lead in Karan Johar's film Shuddhi. Now we hear that Hrithik Roshan, who was earlier to play the lead actor, will be replaced by Ranveer Singh.
Apparently both, producer Karan Johar and director Karan Malhotra, will be meeting Ranveer to discuss the finer details of the role in the film. However, this meeting is expected to happen once Ranveer, who is currently shooting for Shaad Ali's next in Delhi, is back in the city.
While sources close to the project have confirmed this development, an official announcement of the same is awaited.
